Dr. Babatunde Onamusi is a board-certified Occupational and Environmental Medicine physician based in Lima, Ohio, with over 25 years of clinical and forensic medical experience. He is the founder and sole physician of Metrix Medical and Consulting, an independent medical consulting practice providing services across the state of Ohio.
Dr. Onamusi completed his residency training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH). He was previously board-certified in Internal Medicine, providing a broad clinical foundation that supports his ability to evaluate both occupational and non-occupational medical conditions. He is a long-standing member of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Disability Evaluation Panel (Ohio DEP).
Over the course of his career, Dr. Onamusi has completed thousands of independent medical examinations, disability evaluations, Permanent Partial Impairment (PPI) ratings, fitness-for-duty assessments, FMLA medical evaluations, and alternative dispute resolution IMEs. His evaluations and medical opinions are used by workers' compensation attorneys, personal injury attorneys, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, employers, and the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
